Khara Croswaite, LPC
Khara Croswaite is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance in assisting my clients with challenges upon entering therapy. I value working with youth (10 and older) at risk of legal involvement, including detention and probation as well as mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, defiance, bi-polar disorder, ADHD, and family conflict. Conduct disorder and Oppositional Defiant teenagers and their families are an especially challenging and rewarding population I value working with, in order to improve relationships and keep families together.
Specialties: Clients seeking treatment with Problem Gambling concerns, and/or family members of Problem Gamblers. Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
